Autumn 2025 Newsletter!

Summer is playing it's final notes and it's been an unforgettable season, with Adventure Days out to the beaches of the Somerset coastline including Sand Bay, Weston Super Mare and Clevedon, where the dogs have enjoyed doggy ice creams, hot dogs and chasing through the waves on the shoreline. šŸ–ļøšŸ¶

We also had our "1st Annual WWTP Sports Day" which was so much fun! Wagging tails a plenty and deserved awards for all those who took part in what was a fitting end to the Summer season! Don't forget to check out the video to see who won what and to comment, like and share on our socials. It really helps us to grow the business and do more fun activities for your dogs.

With Autumn on the horizon we're reminded that the dogs love this time of year, whether it's the wind blowing in their fur or chasing fallen leaves there is a lot to look forward to on our Enrichment Hikes and the Enrichment Activities that we plan.....more on that soon, we have fun ideas for Halloween!

What the dogs need 🐶

We suggest that your dog has a suitable coat, this is also to prevent them coming back super muddy as well as keeping the cold out.

If you are considering buying your dog one we strongly recommend an Equafleece, they are so good! they keep the rain off , keep your dog relatively(!) mud free (better than any other similar product and wash and dry very quickly, everyone wins! ....I promise we are not on commission.)

We will make sure we have the doggy wash, doggy towels and everything else for our winter walks :)

Side note.....we've field tested lots of human rain coats and trial and error has led us to feel that Equidry have a fantastic range (again, no commission.) and if you want to stay dry, we recommend! Designed for horse riders but excellent for us too!

Bad Weather closuresĀ ā›·ļøā„ļøā˜ƒļø

We will always endeavor to fulfil our walks but if for any reason we have severe weather warning, heavy snow or significant storms then we may have to consider a plan B for everyone's safety, this may be some of the dogs coming to our house for enrichment activities, log fires and fun in the garden.

We will always keep you posted.

Boarding AvailabilityĀ šŸ›ļøšŸ¶šŸ•ā€šŸ¦ŗ

We have very little availability between now and Christmas but have now opened our 2026 calendar up so if you know some dates you need then let us know.

Christmas Closure šŸŽ…šŸ¤¶šŸŽ„ā„ļø

We will be shutting Christmas Weds 24th Dec to Thurs 1st Jan inclusive, for a well earned rest and time with all our lovely children and Tandy!

Growth

With more and more dogs joining us for all the fun, we have asked Zac to come on board for four sessions a week, so expect to see more of his happy face on the pickup rounds, he will also be keeping up to pace with dog behavior training and other CPD. We are so excited that our family business has grown enough to include him more. He's a huge asset and the dogs absolutely love him.

We are off to South GloucestershireĀ for a dog first aid course this weekend so your dogs are in good hands and our certificates stay up to date!

We're also excited to visit Dog Fest this year, where there are some great talks and events scheduled and we and have various partnerships on the horizon, so hopefully we will be able to offer you the odd bargain here and there.

As we've said before but for the benefit of our old and new customers, we are so incredibly grateful to all of you. We feel at the centre of a lovely community of you and your lovely dogs, which means we love coming to work every day!
